Yoga has been a companion in my life for over 20 years. My yoga practice is rooted in the Iyengar tradition that focuses on alignment of the body and mind through awareness, breath, and positioning.

I am a physical therapist (Master of Science, Boston University) with experience in orthopedic clinics. I have a certification in Yoga for Scoliosis, trained by Senior Iyengar teacher Elise Browning Miller.

I am also a neuroscientist (PhD, MIT). My career as a clinical research scientist (Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School) involved providing physical therapy to improve movement abilities of individuals who had a stroke.

Yoga for Back Care & Scoliosis is a therapeutic yoga approach to ease your discomforts and movement limitations. I work with you one-on-one using yoga poses to address your specific back and spinal conditions.
For each yoga therapy session, I carefully select yoga poses, adapt the poses as needed, and provide tailored instructions to meet your unique needs. After each session, I provide written notes and images of key poses to guide your at-home practice.
